The fourth-gen 2012 Honda CR-V concept debuted at the Orange Country International Auto Show in California last month with some bold changes. It's officially set to arrive at Honda Cars of Aiken, 550 Jefferson Davis Highway, Warrenville, SC by the end of this year, and we're excited to share some of the popular CUV's more pertinent details.

The Honda CR-V has remained a top-selling Honda model since its release in 1997. John Mendel, Exec. VP, American Honda, indicates that by comparison, the recent updates, "strongly hint at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model."¹

Rumors about the next-gen CR-V have been floating around the Internet since mid-summer. But most critics and enthusiasts seem to agree that the exterior of the new CUV is more aggressive than previous versions; the interior is roomier; it's lost some weight and delivers great fuel economy.

While the recent concept debut in Orange County confirmed all of the above details, we won't know the engine specs until the 2012 Honda CR-V makes its official debut at the Lost Angeles Auto Show in November.
