Honda Teams Up With Matthew Broderick for a Flashback

Back in 1986, a teenage wise-guy stole our hearts and his best friend's dad's Ferrari when he decided to take a day off from school. That's right, Ferris Bueller. We might be all grown up now, but that doesn't mean we can't take a day off and have a little fun, too. Which is exactly what Honda wants us all to do, and with a little help from Matthew Broderick and the Honda CR-V, we have some ideas about how we can do just that.

When Broderick wakes up on a sunny California morning, there's just no way he can go to work. So he takes off in his 2012 Honda CR-V. And he relives one of the most iconic films of the 80s, from the first fake cough at the beginning to dancing in a street parade to handing his car keys to one very adventurous valet at a French restaurant.

Why Ferris Bueller? Well, like Ferris, Honda is asking us to stop and look around once in a while. What is it that you'd like to do on your day off? Go to a baseball game, take a road trip, the beach, or even a day at the museum, maybe? The point is - you're never too grown up to have an adventure. And with plenty of cargo room, a fuel-efficiency boost from Honda's Eco Assist, and interactive controls and entertainment, the CR-V is more than equipped to be your cohort. And, okay, it's not a Ferrari, but we think it's a whole lot of fun.
